It pays to attend an elite school
According to nationwide surveys, graduates of MBA programmes who join traditional consulting or financial services firms after college can expect to earn an average yearly salary of about $100,000 in the US. However, graduates of ‘elite’ institutions, such as Ivy League schools, can expect to earn more: about $150,000 per year.
