Birthdays can prompt career reassessments

Recent data collected by CEB, a research firm based in Washington, DC, has revealed some interesting factors related to when and why workers might quit their jobs. While job-hunting activity tends to spike around work anniversaries, researchers have found that birthdays play a big factor as well. Job hunting in the workplace jumps 12pc just before birthdays — especially major ones, like turning 40 or 50.
