11 hurt in grenade attack

QUETTA: Al least 11 people were injured when unidentified men hurled a grenade at a bus stop in Awaran town on Wednesday, police said.

Eleven people, all civilians, got injured in the attack, Ahmed Ali, a police official at PS Awaran said.

The injured were taken to a hospital where doctors termed their condition stable, except for two who were referred to Karachi for treatment.

The blast shattered windowpanes of some buildings and spread panic among people.

Nobody claimed responsibility for the attack.
