Members of NA committee visit Quetta

QUETTA: The subcommittee of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Inter-Religious Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony has asked the government to provide complete security and facilities to the minorities living in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan.

The committee members visited a Hindu temple and places of worship belonging to other minorities in Quetta on Thursday.

The subcommittee, headed by Ramesh Lal, discussed with the provincial government officials the problems facing the minorities and observed that minorities needed more security and attention.

During the visit to the temple, Lal Chan, a member of the subcommittee, asked the authorities concerned to pay special attention to the problems being faced by the minorities.
