TAXILA: A laborer was killed when a newly-constructed roof caved in Sultanpur area in the limits of Hassanabdal police station on Monday.

Police and hospital sources said 20-year-old Chanzaib Shah was washing hands after completing work at a house when the roof collapsed on him killing him on the spot.

Meanwhile, auto thieves snatched a car in the limits of Taxila police station. Mohammad Saleem reported to police that two persons fled with his car.
