Protest against Indian aggression in Kashmir continues

LAHORE: Protest demonstrations against Indian forces’ atrocities in Held Kashmir continued in the provincial capital on Sunday.

Women wing of the Youth Forum for Kashmir staged a demonstration outside the Lahore Press Club against the Indian forces for the cruel and inhuman treatment with the unarmed Kashmiris in the Held Valley.

Led by Saima Tariq Gauri, Dr Rabia Khan and others, the participants raised slogans against killings of Kashmiris and violations of human rights by India. They demanded that the UN take notice of the mass killings and effective steps for immediate holding of plebiscite in Kashmir as required under its own resolutions.

The Pakistan Sunni Tehreek also protested outside the Club against the Kashmir killings. Speaking to the participants, Tahir Dogar Nawaz Qadri and Allam Sarfraz Sialvi condemned state terrorism in the Held Kashmir and alleged use of chemical weapons there.

They said the world must take notice of the atrocities and force New Delhi to refrain from massacre of Kashmiris. They also chided the rulers for desiring to promote trade and friendship with India at a time when the Kashmiris are offering sacrifices for accession of their state to Pakistan.
