OKARA: Seven people allegedly kidnapped two sisters here on Friday in Mehboob Town.

Reports said Shaukat Ali, Ahmad Yar, Ihtesham, Attique and their three accomplices allegedly bundled two sisters into a van and kidnapped them when they were on their way to bazaar for shopping. Police have registered a case.

MAN FOUND DEAD: A man was found dead in a field on Thursday at village 29/2R.

Reports said four bikers came to Javed Iqbal and inquired about his father Muhammad Ismail. Javed called his father from home and the suspects took him along with them. The family launched a search when Ismail didn’t come back home after seven or eight hours, and found him dead in a fodder field. He was found gagged and suffocated to death. Okara Saddar police have registered a case.
