RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Raheel Sharif arrived in Turkey on Monday on an official visit to witness Pakistan-Turkey exercises being conducted near Izmir.

The exercise will be conducted in two phases — one on Monday and the other on Tuesday. The army chief will witness both phases of the exercise, said an Inter Services Public Relations press release.
