KARACHI: The Economic Cooperation Organisation Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECO-CCI) on Friday urged member countries to initiate the Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul cargo train project for promoting trade in the region.

A meeting chaired by ECO-CCI President Abdul Rauf Alam discussed the upcoming Iran moot in August.

It pledged to work on a roadmap to remove hurdles in closer economic cooperation and promotion of trade between Pakistan and other member countries.
