LAHORE: Federal government’s counsel Hina Hafeezullah in Christian divorce law case says she had not said that language used in Section 7 of the Christian Divorce Act was very offensive as reported in a section of press on May 24.

She said she had traced the history of change in Indian law and interpretation of Section 7 there, besides outlining the government’s efforts and issues of consensus among a group of the Christian community.
