23 judicial officers transferred, posted

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of 23 judicial officers, including 17 district and sessions judges (DSJs) and six civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates.

According to a PHC order, registrar of the court Mohammad Ayub Khan was relieved of his duty on own request but he will stay with the court until next posting.

DSJs Shahid Khan of Peshawar and Mohammad Jamil of Charsadda were made officers on special duty in the high court.

DI Khan DSJ Mohammad Rauf Khan was transferred and posted as Peshawar DSJ, while DSJ Mohammad Asif Khan on his repatriation from the provincial government was posted as Charsadda DSJ.

Shangla DSJ Naveed Ahmad was transferred and posted as additional registrar at Swat bench of the high court, whereas additional registrar at Swat bench Khurshid Iqbal was transferred and posted as Abbottabad DSJ.

Buner DSJ Muzammil Shah Khattak was transferred and posted as Mansehra DSJ, whereas Mansehra DSJ Salahuddin Khan was transferred and posted as Lakki Marwat DSJ.

Abbottabad DSJ Mohammad Younas was transferred and posted as DI Khan DSJ.

Chitral DSJ Ahmad Sultan Tareen was made OSD in the high court.

He was replaced by DSJ Aftab Afridi, who was repatriated by the provincial government.

As for other DSJs, Jamaluddin was transferred from Hangu to Buner, Rafiullah, from Upper Dir to Hangu, Babar Ali Khan from Lakki Marwat to Shangla and Mohammad Sabir from Torghar to Upper Dir, while Syed Asghar Ali Shah was posted to Torghar on repatriation from the federal government.

Among civil judges-cum-judicial magistrates, Hina Mehwish was transferred from Abbottabad to Peshawar, Shakeelur Rehman from Peshawar to Abbottabad, Adam Khan from Peshawar to Darban in DI Khan, Mohammad Asghar from Darban to Peshawar, Rehmatullah from Tank to Lahor in Swabi and Mohammad Ghayyas Khan from Lahor to Tank.
