Army distributes books among Kohlu students

QUETTA: The Pakistan Army has distributed free textbooks among 3,000 students of 15 schools in the Kohlu district.

According to officials of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), under the Chamalang Balochistan Education Programme, Pakistan Army’s 41 Division provided free syllabus books to 3,000 girls and boys of Kohlu district.

The textbooks were given between April 11 and 15 on the occasion of commencement of new academic year in the state-run schools.

Under the Chamalang Balochistan Education Programme, 4,000 students have been getting education in the province and in other parts of the country.

“The army has been spending Rs85 million annually on the payment of school fee, books, uniforms and other facilities to these students,” an ISPR official said.
