Rangers arrest photocopy shop owner for outing solved exam papers

KARACHI: Rangers on Friday arrested a photocopy shop owner in Baldia Town and recovered copies of a solved Matric English exam paper from his store premises during a raid, said a statement issued by the paramilitary force.

Muhammad Ashfaq, the owner of Paragon Computer and Photostat shop in Baldia no. 3, is also a junior teacher at Anglo Urdu Government Boys High School, said the Rangers handout.

Copies of the solved exam papers were sold to students during their examinations for Rs2,500 to Rs3,000.

Ashfaq, in collusion with others, would out the solved papers at the examination centre where he performed professional duties and earn money illegally, said the Rangers.

Solved copies of previous exams were also recovered from his store during the raid, the statement said.

Ashfaq is being handed over to the police, the Rangers said.
