LAHORE: A walk to create awareness about thalassemia, homophiles and dengue was held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) here on Thursday.

On the occasion, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Fazal Ahmad Khalid said blood donation gave life to those in need. “Sense of realisation and responsibility must be instilled in the youth,” he said, adding that for blood donation, the screening of blood should be carried out properly.
