Obama wants better WiFi in White House, complains about 'lots of dead spots'

WASHINGTON: United States President Barack Obama says he'd like to upgrade the White House's WiFi system for his successor, calling quality of internet connectivity as a serious issue.

Speaking during an interview with CBS on Sunday, Obama said that “there are a lot of dead spots where WiFi doesn't work.”

His wife, Michelle, said daughters Malia and Sasha “are real irritated sometimes.”

The president added that “the whole tech thing, we've been trying to get that straight for the next group of folks, because it is an old building.”
