MINGORA: Two policemen were gunned down in Dherai area of Kabal tehsil in Swat district on Monday.

Sources at the Kanju police station said that police personnel Abdul Razaq and Hazrat Usman were going to Dherai village when they were attacked by unidentified men.

The policemen died on the spot.

The bodies were shifted to the Saidu Teaching Hospital.

Police and security forces personnel cordoned off the area and launched a search to trace the killers.
