Zardari not in good health, says Gilani

MULTAN: Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani said on Friday former president Asif Ali Zardari was not in good health and would return to the country after recovery.

He told reporters the tragedy of the Army Public School, Peshawar, had united the nation and there was no concept of good and bad Taliban.

He said the decisions of the apex committee should be implemented to maintain peace in Karachi.

“The prime minister should consult stakeholders regarding the law and order situation in Karachi,” he said.

He said the PPP did not leave NA-154 by-poll open, but the actual competition was between PTI’s Jahangir Khan Tareen and PML-N’s Siddique Khan Baloch.

He said earlier 12 cases were lodged against him relating to the Trade and Development Authority of Pakistan and later nine more cases were lodged against him.

“I do not know if more cases are in the pipeline,” he said.
