UK MP discusses expats issue with Sarwar

LAHORE: Lord Nazir Ahmed, a member of British upper house of parliament, called on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Punjab Organiser Chaudhary Sarwar here on Sunday and discussed problems faced by overseas Pakistanis, new barriers to Pakistani students in the post-Paris attack, PTI’s strategy to address Pakistan’s crises and other common matters.

Sarwar spoke about PTI’s political activities in Punjab.

In reference to expats’ issues in their own homeland, he said until there is rule of merit and transparency in the country the idea of social justice will remain elusive.

Lord Nazir was quoted as saying that it was the responsibility of the rulers to solve the problems of overseas Pakistanis and take notice of injustices they face in the country.
