Female entrepreneurship

Women constitute 50pc of the population of Pakistan. Many of them are well-educated. Others are pursuing higher education or are interested in doing so. In many areas women are not allowed to do jobs even after receiving higher education. As a result, most of them stay at home either by choice or by force.

In the given situation, there should be a way out to let them play a role in the development of the country while fulfilling their domestic duties. It is suggested that women should be encouraged to make use of their education in the field of business and entrepreneurship.

The idea of women entrepreneurs is a new concept in Pakistan but it is a fact that many women entrepreneurs have been working for the last couple of years in key positions. The rapidly growing rate of women entrepreneurs in Pakistan has drawn the attention of both developing and academic sectors and has helped Pakistan build a positive image in the world.
