CHITRAL: PPP leader Sultan Wazir has demanded of the government to take drastic measures to control flash floods in the forthcoming season as the whole district is endangered by the glacial lake outburst floods.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, he proposed channelisation of the streams flooded this year across the district, construction of protection walls to safeguard villages, removal of obstacles along the streams and raising awareness among people in this regard.
