PPP rejects Imran’s criticism

KARACHI: The PPP has strongly reacted to Imran Khan’s criticism of its leadership and said the PTI chief had become “nervous due to failure of his Sindh visit”.

In a statement issued on Friday, Bilawal House’s spokesman said Imran Khan was desperate to win votes from Sindh and for that he was going to any extent and crossing all moral limits.

“He [Imran Khan] should know that it’s not called change when you beg for votes from followers while moving around with their spiritual leader,” said the statement. “Uncle Imran Khan should know that politics and wisdom are not dependent on age. Great people are recognised for their characters, not ages. Age only defines retirement date and uncle Imran Khan has passed even the age of retirement,” it said.
