KHUZDAR: A group of 430 recruits of Kalat scouts, a wing of the Frontier Corps, completed its training and formally joined the force after the passing-out parade here on Friday.

The Vice Chancellor of the Balochistan University of Engineering and Tech­nol­ogy, Khuzdar, retired Brigadier Muhammad Amin, was the chief guest on the occasion.

He congratulated the recruits and expressed the hope that after joining the Frontier Corps they would honour the oath that had taken at the ceremony.

He said it was a matter of pleasure that youths from remote areas were joining armed forces to serve people and the country.
