PM offers condolences to ruler of Dubai
DUBAI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif extended on Sunday his condolence to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, on the death of his son Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The prime minister accompanied by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi and Special Envoy to PM for Overseas Investment Javed Malik arrived at the Za’abeel Palace in the evening.
A number of key figures of the ruling family, including Sheikh Saif al Nahyan, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid and Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammad Al Maktoum were present during the meeting.
Mr Sharif’s brief visit was an expression of solidarity and deep love of the leadership and people of Pakistan.
