BISEs announce intermediate results

FAISALABAD: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Faisalabad, announced the results of intermediate examination, annual 2015, on Saturday.

Fatima Osama, of the Gojra Jinnah College for Women, got the first position with 1,041 marks; Rabia Mazhar, of the Chenab College for Women, Jhang, secured the second position with 1,034 marks, and Hafiza Shafaq Yusuf, of the Punjab College for Women, Faisalabad, bagged the third position with 1,024 marks.

Board Chairman Ghulam Muhammad said that of the 83,766 candidates, 45,983 passed.

BAHAWALPUR: In the Bahawalpur results, 22,798 candidates passed out of a total of 42,691.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: In the DG Khan BISE results, 36,460 candidates sat for the examination, and of them 22,045 passed.

Muhammad Baran of Punjab Higher Secondary School, Muzaffargarh, bagged the first position with 1,060 marks; Saqib Amin, a candidate of the Government Post-graduate College, Muzaffargarh, stood second with 1,046 marks, while the third position was shared by Noor Fatima (Punjab College for Women, Layyah), and Mushahida Fatima (Government College for Women, Dera Ghazi Khan) with 1,040 marks each.

SARGODHA: Up to 37,079 candidates appeared in the examination, and of them 21,728 passed.

The first position in the board was bagged by Muhammad Haris Ashraf, of ILM College for Boys, Sargodha, with 1,040 marks. Ayesha Ghani, of ILM College of Commerce, Sargodha, stood second with 1,030 marks, and Aqsa Asif, of Punjab College for Women, Sargodha, bagged the third position with 1,028 marks.

GUJRANWALA: A total of 118,564 candidates sat for the annual examinations of intermediate, of them, 55,580 candidates failed.

Komal Arif (Punjab College for Women, Ziaul Haq Road) stood first with 1,045 marks, while Sharjeel (Government College, Murray), and Laraib Khalid (Punjab College for Women, Ziaul Haq Road) bagged second and third positions with 1,041 and 1,038 marks.

SAHIWAL: A total of 34,933 candidates sat for the examination, of them 20,340 passed.

The first position was shared by Farwa Asif (District Public Higher Secondary School for Girls, Okara), and Javeria Qasim (District Public School and College for Women, Depalpur) with 1,033 marks each. Hammad Azhar and Fatima Sakhawat (both of Divisional Public School and College, Sahiwal) secured second and third positions with 1,031 and 1,028 marks.

MULTAN: Up to 32,599 candidates, of 58,414, passed the FA/FSc examinations, as per an announcement by the Multan BISE.

The first position was captured by Muhammad Muhaimin (City Science Higher Secondary School, Soraj Miani Road) with 1,046 marks. Osama Ali (Punjab College of Information Technology, Rashidabad) and Ahmed Jamil (Nishat College of Science) shared second position with 1,042 marks while Muhammad Hamza (Punjab College of Information Technology, Rashidabad) won the third position by obtaining 1,038 marks.
