FA, FSc position holders announced

LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Lahore, on Friday announced the names of position holders of intermediate annual examination 2015.

Two out of three overall top positions were bagged by girls, BISE Chairman Dr Narullah Virk told a news conference.

Muhammad Umar (Roll No 134122) of Kips College for Boys, Johar Town, and Syed Shayan Zahid (135799) of Govt. College University, Lahore, secured 1044 marks and shared the overall first position.

Abyaz Asmar (107299) of Kinnaird College for Women stood second with 1043 marks and Mahnoor Wazeer (9108274) of Kinnaird College and Rimsha Zia (127051) of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, secured 1042 marks and shared the overall third position.

In pre-medical group (boys), Faisal Maqsood of GCU got first, Muhammad Awais of the GCU and Muhammad Zawar Asif of Punjab College of Science, Ferozepur Road, secured second and Muhammad Afraz Naeem and Zargham Abbas got third positions.

In pre-medical (girls), Abyaz Asmar of Kinnaird College got first, Asmarul Hasan of Kinnaird College second and Namak Nasir of the Punjab College secured third position.

In pre-engineering (boys), Muhammad Umar of Kips College for Boys, Johar Town, and Syed Shayan Zahid of GCU secured first position, Muhammad Tahirul Haq of Punjab College second and Muhammad Nasik Tahir of Punjab College got third position.

In pre-engineering (girls), Rimsha Zia of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, secured first position, Jaweria Rizwan of Kips Intermediate Girls College, Johar Town, second and Ayesha Khurram of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, secured third position.

In general science (boys), Muhammad Abid of Punjab College of Information Technology, Muslim Town, got first, Muhammad Shaheryar of the GCU second and Mir Ahmad Jalal of Forman Christian College got third position.

Whereas Rabia Noor of Kinnaird College got first, Sakina of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, second and Aniqa Imtiaz of Punjab College and Shumaila Khan of Queen Mary College got third position.

In commerce group (boys), Muhammad Hasnain of Superior College of Commerce, Shahdara, secured first, Hamza Shahbaz of Punjab College for Commerce, Muslim Town, second and Jawad Ahmed Butt of Punjab College of Commerce, Muslim Town, got third position.

In commerce group (girls), Malaika Rasheed of Superior College for Women, Shahdara, got first, Hira Salahuddin of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, second, Rabia Haider of Kips Intermediate Girls College, Johar Town, and Mahrukh Gull of Punjab College for Women, Muslim Town, secured third position.

In humanities (boys), private students secured all three positions. Mehran Akbar of Sheikhupura got first, Sajjad Asghar and Asghar Ali of Lahore second and Ghulam Qasim Ameer also of Lahore got third position.

In girls group, the first and second positions were also secured by private students. Nagheen Fatima of Kasur got first and Hiba Arshad of Lahore got second position while the third position was secured by Dua Hamid of Kinnarid College for Women.

The Arifa Khan gold medal award in psychology was won by Abdul Kareem of Govt Inter College for Boys, Kot Radha Kishan, Kasur, (among boys) and Neha Gulzar of Kinanarid College for Women (among girls).

The result will be available on BISE website on Saturday (today).
