RAWALPINDI: Four police officials, including two Elite Force personnel, were arrested on the charge of gambling on the premises of the Police Lines Headquarters on Friday night.

Police sources said a raid, led by SSP operation Malik Karamat, was carried out in Barrack No 1 in the light of information that the police officials were gambling there.

During the raid, head constables Sattar Ahmed and Mutahir Abbas along with a commando and driver Faisal Mehmood of the Elite Force were taken into custody. Besides, a sweeper of the police department was also detained on the charge of gambling. The accused were shifted to the Civil Lines police station for further investigations.
