LAHORE: The 13th death anniversary of famous poet and writer Ahmed Rahi was observed here on Wednesday.

A ceremony was arranged at his residence where tributes were paid to his services.

During his life, Rahi wrote scores of songs for films and a number of books on poetry.

He entered the world of film song writing with Belli, while his songs for the film Heer Ranjhagarnered immense fame.
