Two held for running hundi business

LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency on Tuesday arrested a man allegedly involved in illegal business of hawala and hundi.

According to officials, FIA team raided Tahir Trading Company at Shahalam, arrested Yar Akbar Afridi and recovered Rs4 million from him. Afridi had been doing the business of illegal hawala and hundi for sometime.

A case has been registered against the accused.

Meanwhile, the FIA arrested Asghar Ali, owner of a bakery on GT Road, Gujranwala, for his alleged involvement in gas theft.
