Two killed in Kalat tribal clash
KHUZDAR: Two people were killed and two others injured in a clash between Zagar Mengal and Zehri tribes in Dashat-i-Goran area of Kalat district over a land dispute on Sunday.
Sources said that armed men of the two tribes started firing at each other in the afternoon, killing two people and injuring two others.
“Firing is continuing in Dashat-i-Goran area of Kalat,” sources said, adding that the Kalat commissioner and other senior officials were making efforts for a ceasefire and were holding talks with elders of the two tribes.
Meanwhile, the local administration is sending law-enforcement personnel to get the clash stopped.
