KHAR: A pro-government tribal elder was killed when a bomb was detonated by remote control in Chamarkand area of Bajaur tribal area on Thursday.

The outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the killing of Malik Gul Raheem.

Officials said that pro-government tribal elder Malik Gul Raheem was going to his fields in Chamarkand tehsil when an improvised explosives device went off near his residence.
