Two brothers killed

NOWSHERA: Two brothers were shot dead allegedly by their rivals over an old enmity in Amanpura area of Nizampur here on Wednesday.

Police said that Mohammad Khalid and his brother Bashir were going home when their rivals opened indiscriminate firing on them, injuring them critically. The attackers escaped from the scene.

Local people took the wounded brothers to the district headquarters hospital, Nowshera, where they succumbed to their injuries before getting any treatment.

Nizampur police registered the case against five accused, including Bashir, Iftikhar, Nazir, Shabbir and Firdous, and have started investigation.
