Karachi U-19 Blues beat disabled cricket team

KARACHI: Due to sparkling century by Rabish Ahmed, Karachi Blues U-19 cricket team beat Pakistan Disabled Cricket team by a big margin of 121 runs in a T20 practice Match during the training camp here on Wednesday at the National Stadium Karachi.

Batting first, Karachi U-19 scored 214-5 in the allotted overs. Opener Rabish Ahmed scored a brilliant century (104 off 50 balls) and Kashif Iqbal made 31. Left-arm spinner Ameer Ahmed took 2-45.

In reply, Pakistan disabled cricket team could manage only 93-9. All-rounder Abdullah Ejaz was the topscorer with a fighting half-century off 42 balls.

Medium pacer Azizuddin captured 3-14 and Asher Qureshi took 2-9.

Earlier, chief guest and ex-Test cricketer Nadeem Khan presented the official Pakistan cricket caps to the members of national disabled team.—Agencies
