From the club to the ring

“My character’s name is Noor,” related Kiran, “She’s a journalist who lived abroad most of her life but has a deep passion for Pakistan. The role is quite close to my actual character so it felt really good doing a project that reflects my personal values.”

What intrigued her about the story of Shah for her to do this film? “It’s quite simple,” she said, “I believe in what the film is trying to do: remind us of who we are as a people, bring back some of our lost self-esteem, celebrate our heroes and our lives for a change. We need this more now than ever before and film is a very powerful medium that can help achieve that.”
