Bullet-riddled bodies of two men found

DADU: Two bullet-riddled bodies were found dumped in bushes near the Khuda Ki Basti area in Kotri town on Wednesday.

Kotri SHO Nazar Mohammed Deshak told the media that some passers-by informed the police about the bodies after which a team of personnel led by him went to the specified place and collected them.

The police later identified the victims as Ajmal Khilji, 30, a resident of Kari Mori locality and Sohaib Hayat, 28, a resident of Satellite Town, Mirpurkhas.

Police were investigation the motive behind the double murder.

Our staff correspondent in Hyderabad adds: Deceased Khilji’s brother, Mohammad Anwar, who turned up at the Kotri Taluka Hospital to claim his body, said that some unknown suspects in a double-cabin vehicle had kidnapped Khilji from outside his oil shop at Kali Mori some seven months back.

The body of deceased Hayat was collected by his uncle Ashraf Samoon. He told the media at the hospital that the victim was a resident of Mithi, where he had been heading a seminary until he went missing some six months back. Mr Samoon said that his nephew had temporarily moved to Mirpurkhas.
