RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif arrived in Italy on Monday on a three-day official visit.

According to ISPR, the COAS met the Italian foreign minister and discussed regional security. The foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in regional security and stability.

He also commended Pakistan Army as a symbol of great hope for peace, stability of region and the entire world.

The COAS will hold meetings with political and military leadership during his stay in Italy.
