LAHORE: Pakistan’s Mohammad Muqeet Tahir on Thursday reached the third round at the Asian U-19 Badminton Championships, which are underway in Bangkok, Thailand.

Muqeet defeated Lam Hou Him of Macau 21-15, 21-15 in the second round. Besides Muqeet, Zohaib Khan Khaleel is also participating in the event.

Pakistan Badminton Federation (PBF), meanwhile, said it will soon announce a comprehensive programme to send more players to participate on the international circuit.
