LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Tuesday indicted Mustafa Kanju, son of former foreign affairs minister Siddique Khan Kanju, and six others in Zain murder case.

Police produced seven suspects identified as Kanju and his six security guards, including Said, Saadullah and Akram, before the court amid tight security.

Police also submitted challan to the court against seven suspects for resorting to aerial firing and killing class-IX student Zain in Cavalry Ground.

Kanju was earlier sent on a judicial remand to allow the police to collect evidence.

Kanju was arrested under 7-ATA and Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code. However, the suspects denied the charges.

The judge directed the counsel for both parties for final arguments and adjourned the hearing till July 7.
