QUETTA: A police officer and a shopkeeper were killed in separate incidents here on Monday.

Police said Inspector Moham­mad Naeem came under fire on the Jan Moham­mad Road and died while being taken to hospital.

Syed Mohammad was sitting in his shop on the Eas­t­e­rn Bypass when unidentified men reached there on a motorcycle and shot him dead. Murder cases were registered.
