Three killed as van plunges into ravine

KARAK: Three passengers were killed and 25 others suffered injuries as a passenger van plunged into a deep ravine here on Friday night.

Sources said that the coach carrying passengers was on way from Peshawar to Dera Ismail Khan. When the vehicle reached near Niazi Stop it plunged into ravine after one of its tyre burst.

Three people were killed on the spot while 25 others got injuries. The bodies and the injured were taken to the district headquarters hospital, Karak.

Medics said that condition of 11 of the injured was critical. The names of the injured and the deceased could not be identified.
