TAXILA: A female army officer was injured and her spouse died when a speeding dumper hit them on GT road near Hassanabdal on Friday.

Police sources said that Major Afshan Fareeda was going with her husband Shamool Masih on bike.

Shamool died on way to hospital while the Army officer was rushed to CMH.

Police have registered a case and started investigation.
