KARACHI: DawnNews reported late on Tuesday night that the Federal Investigation Agency had taken Shoaib Shaikh, the Chief Executive of the Axact information technology firm, into custody.

An FIA official announced that a large number of fake degrees had been found during raids on offices of the company and on the basis of the evidence collected, an FIR would be registered against Mr Shaikh.
