LAHORE: The election tribunal had declared the election of the returned candidate from PP-97 (Gujranwala) null and void to the extent of 33 polling stations of the constituency.

It is clarified that PTI Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry’s statement carried on May 18 had cited the election commission instead of the election tribunal.

The PTI president had made this statement while presiding over a meeting of PTI’s Gujranwala district office-bearers at its provincial secretariat.
