GUJRAT: A drill/mock exercise for disaster management was organized at the premises of the University of Gujrat on Friday by the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) in collaboration with Gujrat District Administration and Nawaz Sharif Medical College (NSMC).

The objective behind this exercise was to assess the potential and ability of different departments of local government regarding rescue activities during emergency.

Teams from Rescue 1122, Edhi, Falah-e-Insaniyat Foundation, Bomb Disposal Squad, Red Crescent, Al-Khidmat Foundation, police, elite force, TMA fire brigade joined the drill.
