PFF to facilitate coaches

LAHORE: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) chief Faisal Saleh Hayat on Wednesday hoped that the AFC A-License Coaching Course, currently underway in Lahore, will help improve the standard of coaching in the country.

Addressing the participants at the course which is being conducted by Iran’s Ardeshir Pournemat Noudehi and is being attended by local coaches as well as coaches from Afghanistan and the Maldives, the he vowed PFF will leave no stone unturned to facilitate the football coaches.

“PFF has always made rigorous efforts to develop football from all aspects,” the PFF chief said according to a news release. “Coaches play the most important role in players’ development. The professional football coaches working with advanced football nations have adopted latest and innovative techniques to bring phenomenal improvement in players’ skills, confidence, techniques and behavior.

“Our coaches need to work day and night to learn the latest coaching tools and then apply their knowledge to benefit the football players in Pakistan, only then we will be able to catch up the pace of football development in the rest of the world.”
