LAHORE: Chuhng police on Tuesday arrested an alleged robber while his accomplice plunged into the canal and fled.

Two motorcyclists looted valuables from a man near Nawab Town and fled. Mohafiz squad officials chased them. The gunmen plunged into the canal. The police surrounded the area and also called Rescue 1122 divers to find the suspects. The police arrested one of the suspects while the other escaped.
