LAHORE: Pakistan won their inaugural match at the fifth Asian Beach Handball Championship beating Iran 2-0 in Muscat.

Pakistan won the first half 16-14 and second 15-12. They will play their second league match against defending champions Qatar. Captain of Pakistan team Tahir Ali was declared Man-of-the-Match.
