REFERENCE ‘Women watch water flowing from Rawal dam after its spillway opened’ (Dawn photo report, April 28).

We have dwindling water, now termed “blue gold” by specialists. Why are we spilling this precious commodity into a nullah? Why can’t we increase the area or the depth of the Rawal dam to store more?
