15 injured in clash over disputed land

SUKKUR: Fifteen people, including three women, were injured in a clash between two groups belonging to the Gujrani community over the ownership of a piece of land in Khan Mohammed Gujrani village of Tangwani town in Kandhkot-Kashmore district on Friday.

The rival groups attacked each other with clubs, hatchets and bricks. Someone also used a gun during the clash but none of the injured received gunshot wounds, according to officials at the Dera Sarki police station.

All victims were taken to the Tangwani Civil Hospital from where Mai More Khatoon and Naz Khatoon were shifted to the Chandka Medical College Hospital for treatment of their grave injuries.

A case was yet to be registered at the Dera Sarki police station.
