Mahboob trains Afghan umpires
KARACHI: Former Pakistan legendary Test umpire Mahboob Shah returned here on Friday from Afghanistan after conducting Level-I Umpiring Courses for local umpires.
These four-day courses were organised by the Afghanistan Cricket Board under the auspices of the Asian Cricket Council.
He conducted the programme in Mazar-e- Sharif, Balkh and Kabul.
Mahboob said on his return, “I performed monitoring of their elite panel of umpires, gave them tips for improvement, held a seminar for match referees and gave English language test to some of the Afghan ACC Level-II qualified umpires.”
