A plea to doctors

BY visiting government hospitals you always realise the discrimination factor that results in human losses. In government hospitals, you observe a multitude of people who come from far-off areas of the country to get treatment for diseases that can’t be treated in their areas.

But often we witness that OPD doctors while examining such patients don’t even bother to check them up thoroughly. Their attitude does not seem adequate.

The same doctors while performing check-ups privately in their own clinics give proper time to their patients by thoroughly examining them.

It is totally the duty of the ministry of health to keep those doctors accountable. Besides, such doctors should themselves realise the importance of the life of the common man. Money should not be given any importance over the lives of patients.

The authorities concerned should play a significant role in making sure that doctors serve humanity first and foremost.
